I joined Wealthy Affiliates about 5 weeks ago after doing a lot of research into many different affiliate programs. So far I've found everything that WA says it offers is 100 percent accurate. The training first class and the support from the community is excellent. In just 5 weeks I've got my own website up and running and made a few friends along the way. I'm thinking of doing the boot camp when I finish all the training in my current module.
This Wealthy Affiliate review was initially posted in 2017, but I like to update it as the years go on. Wealthy Affiliate has never been better than it is right now in 2019. Last year was absolutely AMAZING for me in terms of Wealthy Affiliate sales and commissions. Check out the below screenshot of my Wealthy Affiliate earnings over the past 12 months. Social Media Managers know the pain of posting that perfect social media post only to have a follower find a typo a minute later and call you out. For marketers, using a social media tool to schedule all of your posts (so you catch those typos beforehand) is a must. But it also helps to get the right analytics from your social posts, especially on channels where it can be hard to get that information.
So I can look up my competitors' site in Ahrefs and cross reference it with my own website. It'll show what links the competitor has that I don't have. Then it will hit up every one of those websites and it will be like, “Hey Bob, I noticed you linked to Eric's website SingleGrain.com. And you linked to XYZ article. I also have a similar article on my website, but my article breaks down ABC which Eric doesn't get into. If you find it valuable, feel free to share it with your readers.” And I'll send them a link to my post at the end of that e-mail.
You have completely got the wrong idea about Wealthy Affiliate and from your comment, we can be sure that you have never tried working with Wealthy Affiliate. First of all, WA never teaches you to promote WA only. You can find out that its main courses only focus to make a website in any subject of your interest and make a money from that website either by applying with affiliate companies like Amazon, Booking.com and so on or if you don't want to sell anything or recruit anyone, then it will teach you the best-proven way to drive traffic to your website so that you can simply earn by displaying the advertisement of services like Google AdSense, Media.net and so on without promoting anything or recruiting anyone. It also provides a weekly webinar to support the members. It provides 24 hours of help where you can ask anything to clear your confusion. Even it separates the courses about promoting WA. Those who want to promote WA, they need to take separate courses known as Affiliate Bootcamp, not the main courses of WA and even that Affiliate Bootcamp course not only teaches to promote WA but also teaches to promote any companies to get the affiliate commission. So, it's better you first try it by yourself before making lots of guesses. And our other websites are de-reviews and de-traveltips. If you join WA, you can find plenty of members with whom you can talk openly and ask them about their websites from where they are making money. You can find more than 90% of websites which are making money but not promoting WA.
Web Hosting Package - Having a website is necessary if you want to earn money online. Those who tell you that you don't need a site are either lying to you, or they are living in the past. Getting a website up and running (domain name and web host - see definition) requires extra cost (web hosting service typically cost $5 to $20 or more per month). As a premium member, you can host up to 20 domain names without paying an additional fee.
Another one of my favorite tools was actually created by Neil and it's called Crazy Egg. Years ago, Neil used to have an agency. They worked with big companies like General Motors and a lot of Fortune 500s, like Viacom and HP. Neil would get them more traffic and then they would be like, “Neil, we're getting all these extra visitors, but none of them are converting. What's wrong? Is the traffic not relevant?”
Another drawback of Wealthy Affiliate is the delay in response by Kyle. Moreover, his response is far better than any other Work Home Business Companies' owner. We know that Kyle is busy because Wealthy Affiliate already has more than 100,000s active members who all want the help from Kyle, but also, he must figure out where it is urgent to help someone. Sometimes even we found that someone asked for help and community members gave him wrong information and Kyle was not there to correct it. So if you are not sure that the support from community members is authentic, then, it is better to ask Kyle in his profile or through private message section and wait till he replies before you move further on it.
There is a paid version, but you can do almost everything with the free version. I think barely anyone pays for it, because there's not that much difference between the paid plan and free plan. For a cheapo like me, I like not paying for it! I loved using Hello Bar. It's very simple to install and if you looking for more e-mails at the end of the day, this is a great tool.
It is more good to create your own niche website and promote that thing in which you are expert or simply make a website in your own subject of interest and learn to drive traffic and just earn from the advertisements within your website without selling anything or recruiting anyone. However, still you can take some benefit by promoting WA as well. But we more prefer you to make your own niche website by following WA lessons in order to earn good income.
Hi, I think this is the most comprehensive review of Wealthy Affiliate which I have seen, and I have seen many because I am a WA member. There is nothing I could add to this review except to conform what you are writing here. I started here and built 2 sites. The lessons and support from the community are as you describe, I could not manage anything without the support. Only one remark about ambassadors, they get nothing. I am one of them so I should know, right?
Rakuten Linkshare is one of the oldest affiliate partner networks that is gaining popularity very fast. To wade off competition as well as making it user-friendly, the platform come with some distinctive features. One of these features includes rotating different banner ads for specific products, making it easier to administer and optimize in the long run. Instead of having to select the ad, you would want to run on your blog manually; that will let multiple versions of ads rotate with a small piece of code.
“ShareASale is solid. Been using them since 2013. Biggest problems with them is the interface is a little dated / wonky. It’s also difficult to deal directly with the advertisers. You think you’re speaking to an advertiser rep, but it’s really just someone from SAS. You have to use a special (hard to find) contact form to contact the advertiser….and it’s rare you get a direct response from them.”
