Affiliate programs are arrangements where an online merchant that’s selling products pays an affiliate website a commission for any sales generated from their referral traffic. The affiliate website places affiliate links pointing to the merchant’s site to track transactions. Each agreement between an affiliate and a merchant features the commission structure and payout information.
Yes, service must be available to everyone. However, WA didn't ban those countries from starting. But when it faced lots of hacking and spamming problems especially from those countries, then WA unwillingly banned those countries to secure its website. After all, every business owners will think about the security of their business. But, WA still trying to find other ways to make its website secure so that it can unban those countries once again.
We also feel sorry for those countries who got banned by Wealthy Affiliate. However, in the past they did try many ways to get secure from those hack incidents. But nothing work. So, at last they come up with idea to let join people as premium members from those countries because once people make a purchase, it is very easy to identify them through their Paypal account or VISA or Master Credit cards.
If you have already registered as a Wealthy Affiliate member, then you can pay Wealthy Affiliate premium membership fee by selecting Niger as your country in their countries list, but by using your actual address and zipcode and then paying using Master or VISA credit card (UBA Card or GT Dollar Card) which you can get from bank in Nigeria, but your card has to be activated to pay for goods about which you can tell to Nigerian bank there. We are not from Nigeria, but we know this from our referrals in Wealthy Affiliate from Nigeria.
For me I would choose a program with Recurring commission. You can build a real passive income. Its the best way to go! One suggestion is contact companies who sell services and ask if you can sell their service for them. Sometimes popular affiliate programs like these have just way too many people trying to sell their service. I personally went to sitecare.ca and asked them if I could sell their service and I couldn’t be happier! So find a service you believe in and go for it!
Wealthy affiliate sucks. The free membership for 7 days is no where enough time to get your head around everything they provide you, 14 days would have been better. After this you only get access to level 1 training that teaches you hardy anything, to learn the rest they charge 50 dollars per level! A complete rip off. If you go premium they charge 49 dollars per month! Pure extortion. If you want to comment or ask questions you can’t unless you go premium! Any what would be your advice to getting into affiliate marketing? The steps. Any ideas. Thanks
Affilorama – While I promoted Affilorama in the past, I no longer do for many reasons. It has simply become too outdated. Affilorama also lacks in some of the training. Instead, they focus on helping you get started quickly by designing a site for you and seeding it with content. Some of the optional training courses they sell are quite expensive and compares to an entire annual membership at Wealthy Affiliate, so that’s why I no longer promote them. Again, they are worth checking out, but I think Wealthy Affiliate is a much better buy.
This will LOCK your bank account wherein you A. Can’t pay them. B. Are prevented from accessing ANYONE to help as they REQUIRE YOU TO PAY TO USE CHAT AND REFUSE TO CONTACT YOU EVEN VUA EMAIL UNLESS YOU PAY C. Threaten then to delete you instead of helping you D. Cause your other charges and accounts to be threatened for non payment while u figure thus out / get a new card etc. So whatever you do, don’t think you can ever take a break from mainstream communication YOURSELF while dealing with them. You have to be on constant alert yourself so they don’t have to be.
Thanks for your review of WA, I’d got alot out of what your review was. I’d had joined for free a few months ago and put it on the back burner and now I am out of a job and re looking at WA to create a online income. Got plenty of time to go thru the course now and not sure if I can join under you since I already have an WA account but would like to find a way to be under you as I feel I would get more help to be successful with you. You have been with WA for over a year, will you update your income with them? I would be interested in seeing how you are coming along with them now. PLEASE email me.
I know there are no guarantees in life and I am by no means an expert but with market saturation and even with countless niches/products/ideas what is the guarantee that a newbie like myself will make a successful monthly income of say even US$500 per month much less $3000. Put another way what can go absolutely wrong if I follow all the lessons (which may not be all that original)? Also in affiliate marketing do we get guarantees on choice of product, platform and also we have overheads (small as they are comparably to other businesses) do we make clear profit above these overheads?
Thank you for your deep insight. I was looking for someone like you who would state the true. I did take notice about the “fishiness” of the site as soon as I got in; you need to “buy” comments, feedback and what not? How can that be of assistance to anyone? Of course, you can change your “magic money” for USD… It is not ethical for them to play with the desperation of the people.
It’s a very clever con: Tell all members that WA is the best way to make money online, tell them to tell the whole world that too, get them to all help each other in the hope of some kind of reward, and suppress any negativity. What you end up with then is a site that appears on first look to be the best thing that has ever happened to anyone wanting to make lots of money online, but which in reality turns out to be a big disappointment.

Direct marketing is a type of advertising campaign that seeks to elicit an action (such as an order, a visit to a store or website or a request for further information) from a selected group of consumers in response to communication from a marketer. The communication itself may be in any of a variety of formats, including postal mail, telemarketing, direct email marketing and point-of-sale interactions. Customer responses should be measurable: For example, the marketer should be able to determine whether or not a customer offered a discount for online shopping takes advantage of the offer.

You and your sales team want to sell your product or service -- not fight with messy spreadsheets, cluttered inboxes, or clunky tools that slow you down. That's why using a Customer Relationship Management System -- also known as a CRM -- is essential. Not only will it help your sales team manage relationships, but a CRM will also give you a place to deliver those leads you generated to your sales team.
Hi Amol, You can’t really expect to make it as an affiliate without a blog, e.g., content strategy. You don’t necessarily need to ‘blog’, but you would need to continually add new content – whether it be evergreen content, product pages with detailed descriptions, etc. WA basically attempts to show you how to manage a WordPress site, how to get it ranked and options for monetizing it.
Hi, could you give me some advice on how to set up a website elsewhere? I may decide to get my own domain one day and it certainly will not be feasible if I continue on Wealthy Affiliates. Basically, I need a good website to host my website for free for now and also the ability to move my domain over for a small fee if I wish to buy one in the future.
In contrast, general advertising—for example, a billboard promoting a brand concept or product awareness—while seen by the customer, does not call for a specific response, and therefore cannot be easily measured. A marketer doesn’t know exactly how effective such a billboard is, or how many people are thinking about and buying the product because of the billboard. However, because of the specific call to action, he or she does know exactly how many people responded to a direct mailing.
Sound advice indeed Craig. Not sure if you or anyone else has mentioned all the content added by member’s of WA to their blogs all goes towards higher ranking in Google for the WA website. Pick any example of text from any blog, search in Google and guess which site is at the top! More potential clients for WA. I signed up with them several months ago and have remained a free member. After many attempts to get me to go premium they extended the discount offer for the first month indefinitely. I still receive many email notifications from them containing info about new blog posts by their member’s. Seems most of them are dedicated to religion so not really surprising that they keep plodding on with no success. They already have the “faith” mentality.
One of the main challenges that comes with direct marketing is overcoming the image of junk or spam mail/email, which can result in ineffective and costly campaigns. In order to minimize frustration, companies can use opt-out lists or utilize a preference list that allows customers to have more control over what they receive in the mail. Another solution is creating a targeted campaign with an accurate database, which also helps reduce advertising budget waste.
If you decide to go into affiliate marketing, understand that you will need a lot of very targeted traffic if you want to make any real money. Those affiliate offers also need to provide a high commission amount to you on each sale. You also need to ensure that the returns or chargebacks for those products or services are low. The last thing you want to do is to sell a product or service that provides very little value and gets returned often.
Pretty awesome! Wealthy Affiliate sounds almost to good to be true. Everyone out there, scam or not (which is almost impossible to know off the bat), is asking for quite some money to provide you with training to make money online. WA not offers the most complete training but you can also host up to 50 sites with the fee you pay. I think it's definitely worth a look and I have begun my free training. From what I have seen up to now, I will become Premium very soon. I definitely like what's here. Thanks for writing this post. I (and many others) appreciate it!
Hi Malcolm, this is going to be very entertaining. I myself am an ex-WA member and yet I am still listed as a “premium member”. I created a fake log in to check out some things and this was one of them. You’ll find that the reason Kyle claims to have this many people he follows is because it is a figure that has accumulated over the years but at least 50 – 70% of them are actually not even there anymore. Make the most of your time there incognito because you only have a week before they isolate you from chat and commenting. I look forward to your follow-up posts.
Now may I know if you ever heard about shopmozo.co I’m a member of this new-launched e-commerce site (but didn’t purchase the referral rights). They offer one-time membership but with too much upselling. It seems promising though and I want to recommend it to friends but I am thinking twice if it is worth it. Also because all the reviews I read about it are from affiliates.

WA is considering to lift up the ban for Philippines, so from time to time they are testing by lifting up the ban. So, if you have been able to join WA as a free member from Philippines, then that is your lucky day. Congratulations for that because once you able to join WA even from banned countries, then they will never suspend your account ever. So, you can have your WA free account always from now.
I am a HUGE fan of the “freemium” business model. Wealthy Affiliate follows that model by offering a free membership account. The free membership gives you limited access in the Wealthy Affiliate dashboard. Some of your access lasts forever, such as some of the training videos and community features, while other features only last for a limited time, such as the live chat feature. Here is what you get with the free Wealthy Affiliate Membership:
Does The Network Offer Any Add-Ons? Add-ons include up-sells, cross-sells and enhancements that your customer can opt for that will allow you to make extra commissions on each sale. Add-ons are a very common practice in affiliate marketing. Add-ons are usually presented at the time of the initial sale. These up-sells add more bells and whistles to enhance the core product. Your customers are under no obligation to buy any of these add-on items, but when they do, you get paid more.
Your social media strategy is more than just a Facebook profile or Twitter feed. When executed correctly, social media is a powerful customer engagement engine and web traffic driver. It’s easy to get sucked into the hype and create profiles on every single social site. This is the wrong approach. What you should do instead is to focus on a few key channels where your brand is most likely to reach key customers and prospects. This post will teach you how to make that judgment call. Get Started
Hi Andrew, I have also been following the YouTube videos presented by Income School. These guys are genuinely nice guys and they really do have the stuff to back up their claims. I have actually been considering a registration with them. They have been building passive income sites for years now and I believe that when they say that they guide you to do exactly as they do – and have done for years now – one has the confidence that they will deliver on their promise.
Good to hear from you man. I couldn’t agree any more, continuous writing and not being rewarded for it in the ways you want can be very disappointing. I’ve never heard of Textbroker until now, I’ll make sure to give them a look, I’m glad you brought that up. Yeah, I was reading through a couple of your comments in this article and it sounds like WA had that direct linking system back when they were starting out, and then grew into blogging. Those are the two systems of affiliate marketing-one for direct linking and doing as many niches as you’d like, while the other WA claims is a “long term business” to stick to one niche and build out your links through articles, reviews, etc. Great points, WA does make it seem like you didn’t try hard enough to breach your success, and the same goes for the people there…
I used to be a member of Wealthy Affiliate. Great fucken service. I made a mistake with theyre affiliate link. I put it in my first post about what happened after i lost my job. They probably thought i was self promoting. It was an honest mistake. Now, they have taken away my websites, my domains, i cant access theyre website. Ive sent them several emails asking W.T.,F. Do you call this professionalism? No explanation, no emails, nothing. They just abolished the work i put in, plus six months membership. The least they can do is offer me a fucken refund. Im beyond angry, as you have probably guessed by now .Im still waiting for Kyle to r espond, but im not holding my breath. The least they owe me is an explanation.I agree with you, its a lot of hard work. I didnt expect it to be this hard. If i was to do another W.A review, it would be a lot different to the million robotic reviews on Google. I now hate them with a huge passion. The only thing holding me back from unleashing , is a true passion for this industry, plus ive talked to some awesome and lovely people on W.A. The community are what keeps me going.
The call to action is a common factor in much of direct marketing. The recipient of the message is urged to immediately respond by calling a toll-free phone number, sending in a reply card, or clicking on a link in an email promotion. Any response is a positive indicator of a prospective purchase. This variety of direct marketing is often called direct response marketing.
